4/x but he's never actually served his country in the military. He drops all the "joint chiefs" and "pentagon" and think tank verbiage, but wasn't in the military. He reminds me of the civilian PhDs who would talk down to the service members while at Maxwell AFB.
3/x thought I was done. He's at a conference for students of a high school, and talking about the cast for Top Gun (the original) as if kids between 13-18 will know who Kelly McGillis is. He likes name dropping all the military work he's done
Little time at Columbia for a summer, dad was a physician so he likely didn't pay for any of his education, and he's talking to a group of kids in a public school that's not full of rich kids, like "you could do this, it's so easy" 2/2
