We’ve run 11 Launch Weeks at Wasp - probably more than anyone except @Supabase. From the outside, it's all fancy tweets, memes and PH launches. But here’s what it actually feels like to run 11 of them, and why its valuable even if only five people join:

This is why we're building wasp.sh - a new, truly full-stack framework. Devs want Rails/Laravel experience for JS, but all the attempts so far have failed b/c either the timing was wrong, or the core team gave up (lost motivation, no money). We've been pushing…

People dismiss so many good ideas with "we tried that, didn't work", only to be proven wrong by someone with enough determination and the right angle. Turns out we DID need another Linux distro 😄🚀

hey @PaddleHQ, why can't I open more support tickets at once? I have multiple concurrent issues and I can only open a new ticket once my current ticket is closed

entrepreneurship replaced my alarm clock with PagerDuty

Looking back, 50% of my initial push toward entrepreneurship wasn’t money. It was a deep, long-lasting hate for alarm clocks.

I know a family that won a lottery and didn't have to work a job for the last 20 years. Your reminder you don't have to join a once-in-a-generation startup early to get rich.

Know a guy who made $15M off the Figma IPO. Worked there 5 years, got in at $300M valuation and initial comp was 75k/yr of equity Your reminder it doesn't take founding something to get rich.

Same situation yesterday. I've learned to approach demo calls as a consultant, not a salesman. It pays off long-term.

Had a demo call. While discussing their use case, I realized they don't need my product and might save money. Dumb, but long-term, I believe that's the only way that works to build a sustainable business—helping people who really need it. Another way to flex is why I am poor 😂

🚩 Customer red flag #27 "We’re pre-launch but expecting 10k customers by end of 2025. Let’s hop on a call!"

Two years ago a guy invited me for a call and pretended to be interested in using SaaS Custom Domains. Then he threatened to build a competing product unless I take him on as a partner 😂 He never built anything.

somebody just told me they want to buy my app i said no, it's too early and too small they said "you know i could just build it, right?" what would you do?

paid SaaS templates are for suckers. Open SaaS v2 is free, open‑source & way more badass: ✦ sexy ui - @shadcn ✦ payments integrated - @stripe @lmsqueezy @polar_sh ✦ admin dashboard - @PlausibleHQ ✦ secure aws s3 file uploads - @awscloud ✦ full cursor rules & llms.txt -…

Soham made way more money scamming and working 4-6 jobs than he'd made if he had joined a random YC startup

if Soham actually stayed at a company / started his own company - he’d be much richer now my fav quote: if the crooks only knew how much money you could make by being honest they'd all behave differently - Charlie Munger

yes, waking up to more b2b saas

A sign that we are waking up to higher aspirations and weening from things that dull our achieving them.

Air temperature tripled between 6am and noon. At this rate it'll reach 5,000 degrees in a week.

Software development jobs dropped 10% year over year from April 2024 to April 2025 At this rate in 5 years that means almost half of the dev jobs we have now gone which seems fitting with AI taking over a lot of the dev work

Can you block ip addresses via Flipper? Yes, yes you can. Whipped this together this morning for a bad actor. I should probably do something more sophisticated but sometimes this is all you need.
