There really should be an official JVM Appreciation Day, where we give our JVMs some tea and a massage.

The Virtual @OpenJDK Serviceability Meetup 2025 will be the 17th of December: mail.openjdk.org/pipermail/serv…

WOW 🤩 The OpenJDK Vector API improvements to the JRuby JSON lib now improve encoding perf by better than 2X on real-world benchmarks, all without writing a line of assembly code! The potential of JRuby to accelerate Ruby apps grows with every JVM release. buff.ly/yKE2nfq

Datadog is indeed fantastic! Prometheus and grafana are fine, but compared to datadog it feels like banging rocks together 😄

Datadog has a reputation to provide the best, but not the cheapest products. However, one aspect that is easy to forgot is that good observability empowers engineers to significantly optimize cloud cost. Learn how dogfooding our own products is saving us huge amounts of money.

Over a two-month period, our engineers recorded 15 performance optimizations that saved us $17.5 million in annual cloud spend. Learn how we dogfood different products and build our FinOps culture at Datadog: dtdg.co/cost-savings

Go の Continuous Profiler、Datadog をよく聞きますね。 というか Datadog しか聞かない。 GoCon2024 でも Kanmu の方が話していて、それもprofile data を Datadog から取得してた。 これだ → gocon.jp/2024/sessions/… #layerxgo

Datadog Continuous Profiler is just amazing 👌🚀 If you are using DDOG, but not profiling, just go enable it, now!

One of my favorite features of the Continuous Profiler we're building at @datadoghq is Custom Context. It allows you to break down your resource consumption, like CPU usage, by any dimension. You can add anything you want: Customer ID, Rule ID, Country, etc ...
