I am excited to see BEC on the news again. BEC of dipolar molecules (NaCs) is reported. While this is much more challenging, I am a bit surprised not finding any discussion in the paper about the molecular BECs reported back in 2003. nature.com/articles/d4158…

Physicists coax molecules into exotic quantum state — ending decades-long quest

Nature - Molecular Bose–Einstein condensates could help to provide the answers to fundamental questions, or form the basis of new quantum computers.

Thanks to large data sets and GPUs, deep learning saw a breakthrough in 2012. Now, supercomputers enable LLMs like ChatGPT. However, AI/ML's impact on science is still limited by relatively small models. We should promote & enable more HPC usage for science. #HPC #AI #Science
