In today's DevOps news: Someone at Google HQ ran "npm install"
Curious: Any alternatives to 1Password that you guys like using? (Lastpass was horrid)
What are my "power user" friends using for email with custom domains? I was on GSuite with some upgraded storage, but their recent pooled storage changes and Google One basically mean that they've cut my storage to 30 gigs and kept the money. Looking for alternatives if possible.
Tinkering around with the BlueSky Social backend today and related PDS services. I must say, it's quite a bit of fun and, so far, well designed. Looking forward to getting federated servers working soon!

Thank god @Reddit is back online! I had the most productive day ever at work. I do, however, hope/look forward to an engineering blog post/recap. The way they do things there is pretty neat.
Curious, are there any alternatives to Atlassian JIRA that are worthwhile? Looking to migrate about 200 users in addition to product owners/teams. Relatively standard SDLC.
Blaring 90's music, got an iced caramelizer from @DutchBros and hacking on some pinball code. Perfect weekend vibe.

If this existed almost 20 years ago, I would've been all over it. Love what Thomas and the buildroot community are doing (been working with those projects for a long time).

Its bad enough that @autodesk raises my prices for Fusion 360 every year, enforces a SaaS subscription and locks me into their garbage platform. The cherry on top is when magically my design files become corrupted and they say that the only solution is to import STEP files...
FedEx is always an interesting beast, and never in a good way. @sendcutsend shipped from NV on 9/8. Somehow the package gets routed to GA, then finds it's way back and is now stuck somewhere in Cypress TX... Oddball algorithm you have there.

Really psyched to try out the new Acorn project by @acornlabs . Only rub I see so far is why they made up a different configuration language instead of using yaml. (... and if only JSON had comment support).
Moving from GSuite to Microsoft Office 365 is one of the most painful, unproductive transitions ever.
