RIP Alice Wong Alice was such an amazing person, advocate, writer, etc and it’s so saddening to hear of her passing 🫂
Something that sticks with me: Alice Wong didn’t really gain notoriety for her work until the last decade or so. How many people who use wheelchairs or who have significant medical disabilities does the world write off simply by how we visually perceive them? Farewell, Alice.
Full heart after an incredible week in Singapore! Thanks to @designsingapore, the Ministry of Education, & educators across country for exploring how accessible technology such as iPad, Live Speech & AssistiveTouch can enable learning for all. #InclusiveByDesign #Accessibility

Not to be cringe, but I'm surprised I am emotional seeing the East Wing demolition. My first job in DC was interning there and I learned everything about it while giving guided tours. The beauty of the East Wing is that everyone can go there. It's America's house.

NEW: The Education Dept. layoffs continued overnight, w/ the main office in charge of special ed funding being “decimated,” as one person described. “They cut just about everyone that works with IDEA funding,” said another. “I’m not sure how these programs exist moving forward.”
How do I say this in 280 characters? It’s an honor to be the US location spotlighted in this global success story on Apple Learning Coach. I absolutely love my job and everyone I get to work with. A dream. Education - K-12 - Apple Learning Coach - Apple apple.com/education/k12/…
Happy World Teachers' Day! Today we celebrate the dedication of educators all around the world.
"Only if we understand, can we care. Only if we care, we will help. Only if we help, we shall be saved." "What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make." Jane Goodall was the best of us.
