Who is going to answer all those phone calls? More AI? At what point does this end up using more traditional API / protocol / data format conventions?

Sam Altman discusses AI agents: an AI that could not just book a restaurant, but call 300 restaurants looking for the best fit for you and more importantly act like a senior co-worker, collaborating on tasks for days or weeks at a time

There is no boiler ban. There are incentives to fit heat pumps and clear signals for manufacturers to ramp up supply and works to reduce the cost of electricity by de-gassing the grid, which will eventually make heat pumps the default.

Stonehaven aren’t pollsters, they’re lobbyists, being paid by the gas industry to prolong unhealthy, dirty, climate-destroying boilers. As it happens, all electric homes are cheaper to run, better to live in and healthier. The gas industry know this and are shitting themselves.

In this thread - apparently not satire - Sam Bidwell celebrates the wholesale environmental annihilation that has made the British Isles some of the least biodiverse territory on Earth. Clearly, British environmental education is in a woeful state.

This video aligns with my experience that we can fit heat pumps in any home. I’ve never had to tell anyone no. The only thing stopping me fitting them for all of my customers is cost. More support is still needed by the Government if we are to get them in the majority of homes.

All because he had the wrong kind of ‘Plant Room!’ Can you believe it!? Time to nip these myths in the bud. Heat geek vs the worlds most ordinary home youtu.be/LEptDnX9nPc?fe…

If you're able to donate something to archive.org please click the red heart PayPal link on the website. It's an extraordinary resource that came under attack recently and has now been restored.

Guess what's back. Yes, archive.org and openlibrary.org are back, as well as web.archive.org (Wayback Machine) and all those amazing items. Some of the features are not up yet, but rest assured we're working on it and our tired devs will prevail.

1. There comes a point in the trajectory of ultra-rich people at which their money becomes their identity. However much good they did in the past (and @DaleVince has done plenty), they start to slip into a new persona. This, to my great sadness, is, I believe, his moment. 🧵
