If anything this shows that Garcia *knew* what he was doing was shady and he was just waiting to be called out—and was surprised nobody did. If he didn’t want to keep it so under wraps, why not announce his retirement when he sent out his own people to petition for someone else?
I guess you can *claim* you care about democracy while cooking the books to deprive voters of choices and potential candidates of the chance to run — but at that point why bother? Are we the baddies indeed
What Chuy Garcia did is gross, he deserves scrutiny for it, and its insane that progressives would try to "retaliate" against Rep. MGP for calling a spade a spade.
