This new H1-B 100K rule would accelerate the move of projects and talent hiring to India. Every big US tech company already has branches in Indian cities — now they would just double down on them. For 100K, they could easily hire 2 new engineers for a year in India.
This new 100K H1-B fee starting Sunday — with already worst pathway to citizenship — is a good reminder for Indians to consider Canada, Australia or the UK as the primary work destination instead of the US. Come to the US on TN or E3 visa, or EB1, not H1B.
X has become total shit show. It used to generate a feed based on your interests, it was a great way to hear from popular tech personalities and communicate with them. Now the whole feed sounds like Fox News. X is truly over.
I just really don't like Discord. I mean, I don't enjoy Slack, but I absolutely detest the chaos of Discord.
