I found pretty cool domain and search term with not many competitors. I also always wanted tool that would be only on web to minimize the platform risk. Let's see how much can I get from this from only SEO.

One of the hardest challenges in developing mobile games is to: 1. Make initial playing feel very intuitive and simplistic to prevent overwhelming the player while 2. Having extensive game world where you can always explore something new. Polytopia does this so well.

I'm really starting to get lost in all of the tools. I have no idea what codex is and at this point I'm afraid to ask.

I started learning german through @babbel. It's absolutely amazing. Very practical vocabulary and exercises. It feels fun but not too childish like Duolingo and i actually feel like I'm learning something.

I have this one app that i genuinely love. - It's based on topic I personally care about. - It's very positive and truly makes world a better place. - It has amazing design/branding that I created. - I enjoy working on it and have ton of ideas on how to improve and grow.…

I got 8 000 downloads and 200 five stars reviews. All from "Apps Gone Free" campaign. But what I was the most interested in was if it will help my app in the long term. It's only a few days but it looks like it definitely has positive effect as my downloads are now doubled. I…

Is it just me, or did anyone else also thought that indie devs can't make money on apps anymore? I thought that If I didn't release apps before 2015, big corporations would always outcompete me and there is no way I could be profitable. I'm Happy I was wrong.

I experimented with lifetime offers. But to my surprise they didn't perform well. It seems that people are scared of that long commitment. I literally changed offer from lifetime to annual subscription and the conversions went up by 300%. Despite the same price.

I also like to highlight the downside. When things go wrong, apps fail, and months of work become futile. These stats show several of my apps with poor impressions, low downloads, and zero revenue. If you release multiple apps and earn nothing, remember that for every…

Big chunk of my revenue comes from SEO. These stats are for one of my apps and the best part part is that the traffic has very high conversion rate. I'm not an SEO expert, yet I managed to get this traffic in under two months.

how it feels having most or your revenue from just one app

The easiest thing you can do to boost your revenue is to increase the prices and test different price combinations.

I've never been happier to receive an invoice. Now the next goal is to get removed from Apple Small Bussiness Program.

I always thought you need massive traffic for ads to make anything meaningful but I earn around 170€ - 300€ from minimal traffic. If ads suit your app's character, incorporate them.

keyword research is the most important part of building new app

indie devs really underestimate how much traffic can ASO bring in
