Feels like we've been fixing or upgrading infra for the last few months. This past weekend, we replaced our two UPS setups with a single larger UPS. We've also recently replaced multiple switches, setup vlans, and moved to a new NAS for package builds.

For those using current or stable 4.0 branches, run make check-old and make delete-old with the latest changes in git. This should fix some C++ build issues for a few ports. (old C++ include files from previous version were missed)


For anyone that has issues with zfs pools not mounting after updating to current. force the new cache location! zpool set cachefile=/etc/zfs/zpool.cache tank

We're uploading MidnightBSD 3.2.4 to FTP servers. It has a fix for an OpenSSL CVE. No other user-facing changes and no new packages yet.


Not having a lot of fun with network equipment lately. We just ordered a new switch and NAS for the project. We use a NAS for package build storage. Our 10G switch is locking up occasionally on us. A used replacement is somehow worse. :(
