For those using current or stable 4.0 branches, run make check-old and make delete-old with the latest changes in git. This should fix some C++ build issues for a few ports. (old C++ include files from previous version were missed)
For anyone that has issues with zfs pools not mounting after updating to current. force the new cache location! zpool set cachefile=/etc/zfs/zpool.cache tank
mports updates: OpenSSL 3.0.18 duo unix 2.0.4 (issues with 2.1.0+) libressl libretls zaproxy 2.16.1 tailscale 1.84.0 sshguard 2.5.1
Getting another DDOS from Alibaba. IP block 43.104.29.0/24
We're uploading MidnightBSD 3.2.4 to FTP servers. It has a fix for an OpenSSL CVE. No other user-facing changes and no new packages yet.
Not having a lot of fun with network equipment lately. We just ordered a new switch and NAS for the project. We use a NAS for package build storage. Our 10G switch is locking up occasionally on us. A used replacement is somehow worse. :(
We've adopted the Contributor Covenant 3.0 Code of Conduct. midnightbsd.org/CODE_OF_CONDUC…
mport 2.7.3 is in current now. We also added a patch after this to fix an issue with mport.check-fake command. The latest package build for current has used this version. Still deciding if we will put this in the stable/3.2 branch or not.
We've fixed a few issues with mport add command in the mport git repo. It's not part of a MidnightBSD release or branch yet. (still testing)
