As Minister for Online Safety, I’m working to ensure the Online Safety Act delivers real protection for people online. New regulations will require platforms to actively prevent cyberflashing and self-harm content, not just respond after harm is done.
We're strengthening the #OnlineSafetyAct to make the digital world safer. 📵 New regulations will bring tougher protections against cyberflashing and content that encourages self-harm. 🛡️ A Statutory Instrument has been laid in Parliament to bring about these changes.
Labour has secured £39bn for the biggest investment in social and affordable homes in a generation. The Tories left Britain facing a housing crisis after they doubled homelessness and rough sleeping. This Government will build 1.5 million homes this Parliament.
We’re taking action for residents facing service charge issues. I joined @UKLabour MPs to meet with Trinity Estates to share billing concerns on the Landimore development in East Hunsbury. We've agreed a plan to resolve errors and are writing to residents this week.
