If you are watching The Big Short to get your fin-movie fill now with all the $GME craziness I'd also recommend Margin Call. Though what's going on with GME is so much simpler than those - at least from market dynamics pov.
Robinhood now not allowing users to buy GME? Isn't this clear market manipulation? Only a free market for the rich and powerful.
When I was actively trading I used to be terrified of holding a short over night. I don't know what to say about holding $GME short as it goes from 20 to 40 to 90 to 350+ over weeks or months
George Soros was a hero because he "broke the Bank of England" and now retail guys are villians for exacerbating hedge fund losses got it!
