Anyone know of any good books on game theory? Really interested to read/learn more
This blog will be deeply personal. It is less of an opinion piece and more an introspective one. I have found it to be a cathartic experience, writing this so wanted to share with a wider audience. linkedin.com/pulse/career-e…
Everyday my calendar is full of meetings. I honestly don't know how I get any work done. Madness.
So after a week working at home (with a child) I can safely say the office is a much quieter place.
Dived back in to some automated UI testing for the first time in nearly 2 years the other day. My god what a minefield. #selenium #automation
I came to the realisation today I can be quite (unnecessarily) self deprecating, especially in a “humorous” manner when talking in public. Does anyone have any tips as to how to prevent this kind of behaviour (or at least limit).
Does anyone have any experience with the NPM package minimist? (Im aware that’s a very specific request) - I could use your help if you do! Thanks!
Should companies publish salary bands? Yay or Nay? I find that the lack of transparency causes people to talk within the workplace and salaries become this odd taboo subject that causes frustration amongst the workforce.
My mini-rant of the day: dot-voting is rubbish. If, after half the votes are in, your favourite has no votes, there's probably no point picking it. It reinforces groupthink. I have an idea for a quick/easy alternative for a thing tomorrow, but would appreciate any suggestions!
I really don't like the term "manual tester"
Half my time at work is spent having these. 🙈
Just learned the amazing word "apophany" from apophenia, the tendency to see patterns when they aren't there, i.e. faces in clouds, nonexistent patterns on the roulette wheel. So an apophany is like an epiphany except you're wrong.
I’ve not wrote a blog post for a fair few months as I’ve either been lacking inspiration or just very busy with work and life in general. Given the new year is in full swing, does anyone have any ideas? What’s hot in the world of testing right now?
Just finished a year of mentoring (once a month) at the @TesterClinic. Hugely rewarding experience. I can’t wait to do it again starting in April, taking all I’ve learnt and continue to give back to the community.

As part of my learning goals for next year I have committed to learning more about security testing. Very interesting subject and lots to learn. It is going to be a fun ride! #learning #security #testing
The replies on this tweet enrage me. Several people are blaming testing. Like, they found the bug because of testing, would they rather it wasn’t found? A delayed release while not great is better than a failed one.
We have identified an issue in the Magnificent Rides Collection and are delaying today's release to ensure you have the best game experience. We are working hard to have a solution ready within the next few days. Click here for more details: bit.ly/2GqGiMn
