Sorry to have missed you! There are a ton of great community things happening for infosec in Portland. we have two hackerspaces: @pascalpdx @ctrlhpdx with regular programming weekly, There's strong meetups: @PDX2600, @DC503, @PortlandOWASP, @PDXRainSec, too many to name.
