My 9-5 is (finally) ending after 5 years. My boss has changed my end date no less than 5 times in the past couple of years. My last day is May 9th and I’ll get severance pay until the end of September. Starting a window cleaning business as there’s a serious lack of good ones…
I actually made it! Finished at my 9-5 last Friday. Today was my first day of full time window cleaning. $1100 revenue day and a packed schedule for the rest of the month.
I’m noticing that what sets me apart from my competition is speed for new leads. I’m reaching out within the first minute and getting them a quote within 10 minutes. They are getting the information they want before the competition has a chance to see a new request.
Here's what I'm using in my window cleaning business: CRM: @GetJobber Phone/Text: @OpenPhone Bank: @mercury Accounting: @QuickBooks Anything I'm missing?
After this morning I'm up to $8k in revenue for my first month window cleaning. Launched service plan options and it's a very easy sell to my leads. Aiming for $15k in May 📈
One important thing I’m learning early on is to always follow up on quotes. Most people just brush it aside or get busy and forget about. I’m hitting people up until I get a yes or a no. Got two conversions this morning just from following up.
I have 5 jobs on my schedule for next week and several quotes outstanding that should be cleared up over the weekend. Everything is starting to work, just need to keep pushing harder as I head toward my last day at my 9-5 (May 9th).
Trying to setup Google LSA and its been a nightmare. I have everything setup but when I try to connect my business profile it says I don’t have one. I’ve called and emailed them, was told it would be taken care of in 3-5 days but still not fixed. Any tips?
Reliably getting 2-3 leads a day. Close rate is 57% Stuck between keeping my schedule manageable between now and May 9th (last day at my 9-5) and completely packing it out.
Had my first window cleaning job today. Super nice house in a gated neighborhood. Customer had a great experience and couldn’t stop talking about how good it looked. Ended in a $125 tip so I’ll take it!
Website and socials were live for less than 24 hours and I got a quote request from someone this afternoon. Closed a $665 job No idea how she found me
I’ve spent the last couple of weeks getting everything set up: EIN LLC Bank Jobber Website Socials Ad accounts Graphic design Equipment
Carte Blanche from the 3rd drop (I think?) Love this hat
Changed up the look of the site to implement some design work I had done.
Got some work done updating the logo to better reflect what I’m going for. Thoughts?
Lots of people visiting the site. Numbers keep improving every day. Keep going!
