The UK is negotiating a trade deal with the US, it could spell bad news for food standards. SIGN our petition bit.ly/2v4qdoH

This is not fake news. The UK gov want to make up new laws to retrospectively change tax dating back to 1999 #2019loancharge

And there's the rub with all this. What happens next?

It’s true, trying to introduce laws to allow HMRC to go back 20 years, may only affect 100,000 but once the precedent is set...#retrotax

No impact. Really?

It’s true, trying to introduce laws to allow HMRC to go back 20 years, may only affect 100,000 but once the precedent is set...#retrotax

Shooting oneself in the foot.

Correct - the terms avoidance & evasion are used interchangeably by many, including HMRC. It should not be so.

Won't be much of a growth industry when you bankrupt hard working IT professionals with your #2019charge retro tax.

Totally agree..

And this will be - avoidance, evasion or 'different rules for us in government'. Think we know which it is !
