While @PennsylvaniaDEP plans to plug this well, we discussed how there are still thousands across Pennsylvania yet to be identified. That’s why we must pass my Bipartisan Abandoned Wells Remediation and Research Act.

I started off the day with @PennsylvaniaDEP visiting Ivan + Pamela’s beautiful Murrysville home. However, as far too many of us know all to well, they also have an abandoned oil well in their property, which continues to emit toxins in the community.

Also who is this money going to? The goal of transition housing is to pay amount and find housing. A portion if not all of that amount goes back to you for said housing. A studio in Pittsburgh can be 500-700. This is counter productive to the goal or is um tripping today🤷🏽‍♂️

See people think they slick as hen piss lol cuz whatttt Did you know Second Ave SHELTER 🗣 charges 525+ for rent?! How do you transition out of homelessness that way? Basically it's a low income unit but you have facility rules…how is that okay.

Evashavik and Bigley are arguing that individual board members should not be able to do individual jail visits. They are arguing that the board should make visits as a group. This is insane.

This is actually obscene. Public comments have proven time and time again to push through JOB to action, hold the jail accountable and help specific individuals get better healthcare. 4pm thursday the 4th. Show up and tell the JOB we won’t stand for this.

The new Jail Oversight Board bylaws seek to deeply limit public comment by: Prohibiting people waiting from commenting after 30 minutes of total public comment Limiting what the public may talk about during comment Disallowing the public from reading other’s comments

Beyond limiting the board's investigatory powers, this would take away a crucial resource incarcerated people have to remedy their concerns

Incarcerated people deserve protection. We will continue to fight for them using the power of organizing, litigation, and simply by showing up for each other.

It is unconsciable that the Judge would weaponize information given to her by the jail against her fellow board members and use it to craft bylaws that prioritize the wants of jail administration. MAN E and @bethanyhallam's commitment should be mirrored, not limited.

Absolutely 100% agree! Retentions don’t make sense to me, it almost guarantees that they’ll stay on the bench as long as they want. They should have to run for full re-election like other elected officials and statewide judicial positions.

Your friendly reminder to vote “no” on retention for every judge every time.

I don't know why President Judge Susan Evashavik DiLucente wants so much to include provisions in the by-laws that violate the law! @BethanyHallam says this would invalidate the entire document.

If you’re on the Jail Oversight Board, and haven’t visited the jail yourself, what the hell are you even on there for?? You cannot be a good advocate for the incarcerated if you don’t know what the fuck is going on. What a joke.
