Always consider and treat empirically for sepsis in “myxedema coma” (which may have no edema and likely no coma, and thus could more aptly be called “decompensated hypothyroidism”). Often sepsis is the trigger! - Dr. Ryan Raam. #lacuscdem #grandrounds
