One of my all time best beach photos from Watercolor, Florida. The pastel colors, the flow of the clouds and a single focal point brings it all together. The man in the image is also a photographer who happened to be on the beach at the same time. @spann @stormhour
The only storms I won't chase are hurricanes. But I just can't compare high plains chasing to the monsoon. They both lift the spirit and replenish the soul in their own ways.

Mt. Cristo Rey, elevation 4,675 ft, with its 42 foot sculpture of Christ over looking El Paso and Juarez, is dwarfed by these monstrous bolts that landed just north of the peak on September 28. The peak is near the junction point of 3 states and 2 nations. #nmwx #txwx #elpaso

Was hiking a familiar trail near Flagstaff when I came upon a ponderosa that was burning after a lightning strike. I photographed for at least an hour as it calmly burned. I'd contacted the Forest Service and they later came to extinguish it.
