Tech leader, principal engineer, speaker, enthusiastically bad drummer. VP of Engineering at @graylog2. Founded Resurface, @villageglobal NC 2019.

I'm truly grateful for what I've learned and who I've met on Twitter, but I'm out. Please follow me at robfromboulder.bsky.social or linkedin.com/in/robfromboul… for future updates.

So excited to be doing two sessions on API security at #GraylogGO next week. My first public talks as a Graylogger! 😀

Holy one-track Batcomputer mind!🦇🖥🧠 It's almost time for #GraylogGO!😮 Are you registered (FREE)? To get the recordings soon after the event, you must be registered. Sign up while you can! 👉graylog.info/3GKzSEq TY sponsors: @BitLyft @OpenSearchProj @ipinfo #Graylog #SIEM

Repeat after me: web/API standards are strong suggestions, not unbreakable natural laws

If you are using @trinodb and your workload involves INSERT, then you really wanna get on version 422. We're seeing ~50% improvements in INSERT times without any other changes 🤩

We have some exciting news! @graylog2 has acquired the @resurfacelabs API Security platform. “I am thrilled to become a part of #Graylog & help contribute Resurface’s expertise in #APIsecurity to their innovative portfolio," says Founder @robfromboulder. graylog.org/post/letter-fr…

My best coding sessions have a strong meditation component, maybe the best secret perk of being a coder?

Needed to claim some mental space - something I often do with a little coding - so I started building a simple API with Elixir and wow, that is fun and easy. Curious to see where this goes.

In ep. 114 of @JamstackRadio, Brian (@bdougieYO) and Rob Dickinson (@robfromboulder) of @resurfacelabs unpack API security in depth, including insights on vulnerability scanning, data collection, observability, runtime security, and perimeter security. bit.ly/3VwrP34

Thank you @trinodb and @starburstdata for hosting an amazing summit! A fabulous cross section of folks doing big things with big data 🐰

Many thanks to @trinodb team for all the recent security package updates in Trino & Airlift. Didn’t see this mentioned in release notes, but this is critical for security scans of Trino-based containers. Greatly appreciated!

Amazing how interest in API security is taking off. As an informal data point, I'm doing 3 podcasts just Thursday alone to talk about our most recent findings. This is increasingly "need to know" for any organization where APIs are present or planned.

Anybody else wanna meet up at #BlackHat? -- first conference in a while where I'm not presenting, so will be fully in "let's hang" mode 🤷‍♂️

Looking forward to discussing the art of API security with @barbmaclean @mkonda @robfromboulder this Thursday! resurface.io/api-security-w… #infosec #cybersecurity #APISecurity

I'm presenting at #DevWeek2022 next week, and am able to offer free passes covering the whole event -- these are gonna go fast considering what you get for $0: bit.ly/3EW4gsP
