I feel like pure functional programming is the logical conclusion of test-driven development. Programs with a large side-effect-free core are much easier to test in my experience

Pondering Agile anti-patterns today. Soooo many come to mind: * hero culture * shame & blame * silos * command & control * no experimentation * fear of failure * feature pressure * urgency/fire-fighting * coding alone * poor communication * poor code quality How about you?

The code-review process is inherently inefficient. If the reviewer finds problems, you need to rework. That's a 3x hit (time to do the work, time to rework, opportunity cost). if you had worked collaboratively with the reviewer to begin with, no rework would have been necessary.
