Live coding is such a bad idea. Nobody, and I mean nobody, thinks straight when someone else is watching them work. I type 100wpm and if you walk up behind me, it's like all my fingers switched places with each other.
Finally got the time and motivation to work om my Dancer2 app and made some progress. Managed to build the database request for checking the login credentials from the web form.
Huh, MetaCPAN has an online Pod previewer for any Pod you care to put in the form: metacpan.org/pod2html

Did you know that #LibreOffice has a built-in QR and barcode generator? Now you do 😉 help.libreoffice.org/latest/en-US/t…

In my oppinion, this is surely one of the rare cases nowadays where Machine Learning has been applied to a problem where it actually fits to.
Remember the Machine Learning model that tried to predict undercut attempts?🤖 Fantastic news: all the scripts and the 114-page report have been uploaded to GitHub!😁 You will find it here👇 github.com/laurence9899/F… Kudos to @HearneLaurence for creating it!

Can Machine Learning help F1 engineers predict an undercut attempt?🤔 @HearneLaurence contacted me about it, and later produced a model doing that!🤖 Solid lines: driver's pitting probability🔮 Dashed lines: the real pit The model predicted HAM pitting, and LEC covering it!💡

Automate all the things!

Exciting news, OTOBO 11 Beta is out, otobo.de/de/otobo-11-be… . The release party wasn't bad either. #OTOBO
Did you know: The form attribute on an input element can be used to emulate nested forms, or to place it outside a form but still be posted with it.

every html element with an id tag like <div id="thing"> automatically defines a js variable with the same name in the global scope, referencing that element this feels like forbidden knowledge I wasn't supposed to find
Neovim is officially old! 10 years ago, Thiago de Arruda pushed the first commit to neovim/neovim. The work continues...

IT Chef: "Was machen wir mit KI? Und wo können wir sie einsetzen?" "Wir könnten sie nutzen um aktuelle IT Trends im Auge zu behalten, damit wir nicht auf Hypes reinfallen, die uns nur sinnlos Geld kosten." IT Chef: "Guter Vorschlag!"
It's exciting to use the telegram bot api. I wrote a bot backend in Perl, which has a simple plugin mechanism for separating code of various purposes. The mechanism can surely be improved very much, but the bot can already ask bible questions 😊
Vim turns 32 today! 🎂 🐧 Share your experience with Vim 🙂 #opensource

When you're a developer and refuse to compromise on keyboard comfort and productivity 👨🏽💻 Proper key feedback and a second screen are essentials, right?
