#designer friends, know any mobile prototypers / design engineer friends on here looking for a gig? I have a relatively small paid project that might turn into a longer term contract / full time role. Pls DM me their names / recommendations

You know what the biggest problem with pushing all-things-AI is? Wrong direction. I want AI to do my laundry and dishes so that I can do art and writing, not for AI to do my art and writing so that I can do my laundry and dishes.

Fantastic interview of sundar pichai by @reckless youtu.be/lqikP9X9-ws?si… Great set of hard hitting, timely questions. Holding sundar accountable

Hi @themikestern @lindadong, love SF symbols but can we pls get a figma plugin to make them easier to use?

It’s amazing how the industry has normalized hiding bad design with great craft. So many apps using great animations, slick visuals to hide dark patterns. We need to stop doing this.

✨ Just released my super simple running app that I made because Strava was too overwhelming for me! It’s simple but a lot of detail and care went into it, check it out on your weekend run! Link below 👇

The benchmark for in-home convenience should be Asia and the benchmark for out-of-home public experiences should be the west. I'm yet to find something that marries both.

I've been hacking on a fun little SwiftUI app to help my son learn the alphabet. You find objects using the camera and it narrates the word & first letter. Turn ur sound on to hear the narration. More details in the thread on how it works:

There was a lot of pressure to go back to "ten blue links", but "just render the answer on the side". This is where conviction and a world view matters. We said to ourselves: even if the answers are wrong now, this is the future. We have to build the future. Thanks to all our…

Being able to provide intellectually meaningful and actionable critique is as important to being a designer as it is to have the ability to create something. Making + questioning = designing

I am noticing a worrying trend in product design in India where empty marketing is overtaking genuine product innovation. Somehow there’s a bunch of folks who think you can slap a new logo / make a new box / make a slick website and repackage the same old products which have…
