Like all languages, Punjabi too has very rich literature, deep thinkers, phenomenal poets and fantastic singers. What you see depicted in popular culture does so much disservice to Punjabis. But Punjabis don’t take offense over everything and anything. I wish they did. They are…


Now what passes for Punjabi music and culture is a disgrace. Cars, drugs, women, expensive brands, guns, violence - this is what has become of Punjabi music.


Punjabs' carefree attitude goes much beyond partition. We have a saying- 'Khaada peeda ugaali da Baaki Ahmed Abdali da' Till date Punjabis are big spenders. Tend to splurge earnings in showoff rather than saving, as Ahmed abdali wud eventually loot all in repeated invasions.


Punjab and Bengal both states have a very rich culture and heritage, a lot of Indian freedom fighters came from these two lands, both have wounds of partitions. But when i see the situation of these two states today specially the younger generations i feel very sad .
