Listening to Anthropic's CEO and the moves OpenAI is making -- it is clear that openAI is going after consumer facing (google, meta, etc) and Anthropic going after Enterprise.
Few days ago openAi news took $hubs down and today it took $hubs up. That is how dysfunctional market is sometimes. It doesn't have any logic -- just reaction.
Has anyone done deep analysis on the impact due to H1B/$100K and 15% cap on international student admissions? Where things may be heading, etc? CC: @deedydas
May be bit too early to call it a pattern - but I am seeing a lot recent acquisitions are for startups by young entrepreneurs with < 5-7 years of industry experience. Perhaps they are more connected to state of the world than experienced ones?🤷♂️

If google wasn't scared of SEO -> GEO shift, they wouldn't have made the change they made in the search bar to have AI Mode. We have more data points indicating headwind for Google on SEO spend.

What a relief. $100K applies only to new H1B applicants/petitions -- so existing H1B as well as renewals are not impacted.

Geez. This 100k H1B is causing chaos to travellers having to return back to US before Sunday and can't travel until situation is resolved and potentially some of them are dealing with family health issues in India. I hope CEOs of top companies are engaged w/ DC to resolve this.

I was asking some hypothetical question in chatGPT and at the end it was ready to recommend some lawyers.. This I think is the biggest threat for google's ad biz. I am feeling more and more positive on the assertion that GEO could put dent to Google's SEO.
