I’m grateful to be surrounded by young brilliant minds that want to do cool things like solving @uWaterloo_CEMC @WaterlooMath computer science contest problems (CCC), becoming @learningcode teen ambassadors and hanging out after school at the coding club. uwaterloo.ca/waterloo-women…
After years of Instagram/X friendship, reading and writing in all his books (When Passion Meets Project is my fave ❤️), and swapping endless messages… I finally met the inspiring @brianaspinall from @codebreakeredu in person! A true leader in Computer Science education
                                            The power of t e a m w o r k ✨🤸♀️
Excited for the pre-break Java Simulator Projects in ICS [3/4]U! One standout: a “Unit Circle Simulator” by Grade 12s in Advanced Functions. They’ll bridge math + CS by computing (cosθ, sinθ) and more. Still brainstorming, but can’t wait to see it come to fruition! #Coding #Math
Incredibly interesting workshop by keynote @drjessehoey about Artificial Intelligence. Can we give computers emotions? Emotions encode a social order (the "flashlight") that allows us to work in a society. Thank you!!🤖@UWaterlooCEMC
                                            Comment ouvrir un cadenas 🔓 101 💚🤍
Such a blast connecting with @thegautamkamath and solving pink napkin math problems!💕I am a big fan of his differential privacy YouTube videos featuring Mikey Mouse wallpaper. The @UWaterlooCEMC Summer Conference for Comp Sci educators was🔥!! Thank you @WaterlooMath @BillGates
Had a great time meeting @thecodingbarbie, Richard, and other high school CS teachers at the @UWaterlooCEMC Summer Conference for CS Educators! So important to get students excited about CS early. The @WaterlooMath napkins had unique math problems on them. Can you solve mine? 🤔

If you slide the first apple of the 2nd row to the first row, there are two "question mark shapes"—>? Each "question mark shape" has 6 because they are both one apple roll away from being a hexagon, which automatically has 6 sides without needing to count. 12 total.
I feel this!😅
3^2+4^2=5^2…. So 25 (the inner square + the outer square)
Or @mraspinall the G from Twitter, IG and YouTube.
Quite often, the greatest PD is the educator down the hall.
I used to tell my grade 9s to think of the symbols as mouths that want to eat ice cream scoops. The mouths want to eat *the ice cream with the most scoops* so the mouth is opened towards the number that is bigger 🍨💕
New TikTok video: What's another way to think about inequality signs besides alligators?
❤️Circle Sudokus❤️ because they’re collaborative, engaging and forces the students to think in a “if/then” fashion. More importantly, they hit each element in @TalBenShahar’s SPIRE model of happiness. #oncsed #csforall #ontariocodes #code #coding

I just ordered @mraspinall ´s Green Code Breaker Hoodie ✅😃- Mental Health Awareness on @Bonfire bonfire.com/code-breaker-m…

"Code is going to continue to play a major role in defining our future. I think it’s crucial that young women learn to code as early as possible to ensure that we as young women have a voice and a stake in what the world looks like." – Karlie Kloss
