Today I learned St. Louis County has twice as many municipalities as Rhode Island. Same population (1m) living in half the land area (1000mi2 vs. 500mi2). Time to consolidate some (or all) of these cities...
Rhode Island would be a lot more efficient if it the smallest state didn’t have 39 municipalities. At minimum, the 5 counties should be their own cities. Thoughts?
