Got my spoon saver model put up on printables: printables.com/model/451064-s… Its a TPU magnet holder that goes in your sink's garbage disposal mouth and catches metal silverware. #3Dprinting

Got my ox64 linux stuff built. Was super easy, now I just need my ox64 to get here from hong kong...

My sister in law just lost ~10 years of photos, videos and other files... Good reminder to go double check your offsite backups and make sure they're working everyone!

Hmm that was disappointing. My high torque mini dc motors are alos not strong enough to turn my magnetic stirrer in a sphere contraption. Guess its time to try the drill? That should have some torque to it...

Wasn't sure what size hole I would need to mount the D shaped shaft. So printed out a test print with 4 different sizes/shapes around what I thought it would be. And we have a close enough match to make the new mount! #3dprinting

Wanted to take the kiddos out trick or treating in the wagon so had an idea to stick a string of rgb leds on there for some visibility. Worked pretty well but developed a short part way through. So got to fix that then I can post some pics!

Got some high torque motors to try out on my vortex sphere... Has a different sized shaft so get to make a new lower piece.

Wore a shirt with a floppy disk icon on the front yesterday. Only one of the five people I was working with knew what it was. Yay for getting old.

Hooked up the motor to the bottom half of the sphere this weekend, but no worky :( looks like the motor isn't strong enough to overcome the friction. So need to get a beefier motor or lower the friction...

@thepine64 Ox64 running Linux! It was bit painful, as C906 UART pins are on USB-C (TX) and SD-Card (RX). But with handy adaptors, I was able to hook them, and here are results! Thanks to engineers from @BouffaloSystem for helping getting things working.

Got my esp32-s2 ordered up. Curious to try out the host usb. Wonder if anyone else has used it for anything...
