According to Cybersecurity Ventures, Damage related to cybercrime is projected to hit $6 trillion annually by 2021.
As at 2019, the average cost of a data breach is $3.92 million.
By 2020, the estimated number of passwords used by humans and machines worldwide will grow to 300 billion. If users fail to properly safeguard these passwords, breaches will increase significantly
71% of breaches in 2019 were financially motivated
Compared to the midyear of 2018, in 2019 the number of reported breaches was up 54% and the number of exposed records was up 52%.
