Today we centred the voice of @LifeAsWali as we continue to deal with emotions, be in community and support Muslim students/families in our class. We also listened to Wali on Q w/ @tompowercbc reflect & perform his poem ‘Home’ once again. TY for this @LifeAsWali
We are like these pencils. Divided, we are broken easily. Together, we cannot be broken. Food for thought, in light of what has happened this past week in London, ON. The allyship from so many at this time reminds me what Canada really looks like. May we always stand together.
