OK singles, I can't promise an immediate response but feel free to drop into my DMs if you like the idea of being involved in some probably lower stakes version of this I am targeting weird but functional people who are sincerely looking for true love + a monogamous marriage

I'm cooking this morning. I'm synthesizing I'm gonna drop a bunch of weird techie millionaires and tradcurious e-girls in the woods

Gave each of my children a lollipop and expected them to just be happy, you know, not immediately go at each other like barn cats for the second lollipop You'd think it's my first day on the job

I could make whatever argument I wanted here, but the reality is that I would never choose a male childcare provider, especially for my preverbal children. To futz around it feels dishonest.

I've come to share this view. The vast majority of men don't *want* to work with infants. Of those who do, too high a proportion are paedophiles. I think the risks outweigh the benefits.

I get it, though. The median first gen homeschooling mom is absolutely bombarded by friends and family with the idea that her kids are gradually becoming socially retarded by default because they're not spending 35 hours/week amongst a throng of other children

So many posts in mom Facebook groups are women asking for permission to make their own decisions. It’s so strange.

Fun to watch beige bras unite a generation

On display in one exhibit is a provocatively-posed woman, 8 months pregnant. The showman claims the woman had a condition with a high likelihood of death and donated herself in advance. Why she didn't deliver the baby early is not explained. It's never sat right with me.

Fascinated with the huge controversy over the Bodies Exhibit - Basically, journalists believe the plasticized (real!) human corpses were murdered, and obtained through sketchy practices. The victims include forgotten mental health patients, prisoners, Falun Gong practitioners…

Pregnancy and birth are the most profound experiences I've ever had, and I'm grateful to have lived late enough to have experienced them safely and not late enough to have been robbed of them

Pregnancy is an insane cost on women and humanity. Progress on artificial wombs is as close to objective good as you’ll get in science and the hate that this technology is receiving is baffling
