#LoRaWAN #ChirpStack #ADR fun: server was hearing node reliably, so it happily turned the TxPower down to 10dBm so it can't hear the node reliably, and is now struggling to find a re-transmit count that makes it work again. I wonder if ADR doesn't handle Silver Spring well.

#LoRaWAN #ChirpStack #ADR fun: server was hearing node reliably, so it happily turned the TxPower down to 10dBm so it can't hear the node reliably, and is now struggling to find a re-transmit count that makes it work again. I wonder if ADR doesn't handle Silver Spring well.

Wrote some code today and got the @RAKwireless Field Tester with @disk_91 firmware going with a lightweight daemon via #ChirpStack's #MQTT interface #LoRaWAN (no Python was harmed, 100% C with paho-mqtt and cJSON)

Delighted how easy it is to configure and manage #ChirpStack, @RAKwireless RAK7243 Gateway (currently using a Mikrotic gateway 15km away for testing). HTTP integration for back-end connection just worked. @LoRaAlliance

Looks like mine, software is optimized for #Helium and #ChirpStack under #LoRaWAN by @things_network, provides coordinates, signal strength and connection statistics. Optimal to determine the best location for your gateway.
