Reflecting on my #GISCience2023 journey, I'm grateful for the constructive and enriching environment it provided. Here's to hoping that every conference in the future offers such a wonderful platform for knowledge exchange and meaningful connections.

I was fortunate to connect with experts and approachable personalities at #GISCience2023, such as Robert Weibel, Jennifer Miller, and @udemsar. Their warmth and knowledge enriched my conference experience.

At #GISCience2023, I had the privilege of meeting inspiring individuals like Somayeh @moveucsb and @AnahidBasiri, both fellow Iranian scientists. Their remarkable success, despite the challenges posed by gender inequality in our homeland, fills me with immense pride.

Useful recommendations from @EftyKoukouraki on how to make figures in academic publications reproducible. They tried replicating a bunch of maps from papers that had open data+code, but found in many cases they couldn’t reproduce even then. #GIScience2023

Excellent example by @Friendly_Cities of the dangers of categorising numeric data in different ways – all these maps show the same data, but categorising the data in different ways makes them look completely different. #GIScience2023
