Strong force, weak force, electromagnetism.. ? Something about quarks, though at normal everyday energy levels protons and neutrons can be considered to be discrete particles.


Electrons are just bags of photons, not an actual particle. They have a "one in and one out" functionality so when you add excess photons to the bag of electron, other photons leave thus producing light. The current state of astrophysics (and some physics) is just a hobby.
