Introducing: Responsive "smart" tiles! In the background what is actually happening is that the game in real time picks one of 13 different tiles to place based on which tiles are next to it. High tech! #RPGamesEngine #IndieDev #GameDev #MonoGame
To help increase performance, I made it so the #RPGamesEngine only draws what the player can see! To demonstrate this, I also added a debug "zoom out" feature.
For those wondering, #RPGamesEngine is still in production! No update this month but the wait will be worth it :D
The roadmap for the next month of #RPGamesEngine. Hopefully I can get it all done before August concludes, so I can bring back the "2D RPG Game" series after a 3 year absence!

Entities (and all classes that extend them) are so versatile in the #RPGamesEngine that you can "possess" an NPC!
Shadows are a thing! They hurt performance though, which is why they are a toggle in the settings :) #RPGamesEngine

I did my best to recreate Twinleaf town from Pokemon Gen 4 (Diamond / Pearl / Platinum) in @RPGamesEngine. Aside from the player being 3x the size he should be, I would say I got pretty close! #GameDev #Monogame #RPGamesEngine

I've said this many times before, but this time it is for real. The #RPGamesEngine is officially being worked on again. Yesterday I just re-did the item code :)
On the topic of the #RPGamesEngine: I'll begin work in the coming weeks. I have a feature planned that will make the game revolutionary.
I am glad to say that the #RPGamesEngine is under development again! Expect an update in a month or two, I have some major fixes to do xD
My goal is to release the first playable demo for the #RPGamesEngine!
