1/2: I haven't checked myself, but that was previously the #3_4Fire, so perhaps that is a hashtag where you can find info; some were searching for #RedBankFire and not noticing the tweets were from last year. As far as reporting - there are currently 22 fires in NorCal.

The GOES West satellite can also detect fires... they are the black areas on the map. You can see both the #WalkerFire in Plumas County and #RedBankFire west of Red Bluff with this, along with another potential fire in Modoc County and a small one in Siskiyou County.
