I did all 50 stars of #adventofcode2020 in #JuliaLang . I ended up completing most of the first 20 stars in the last two days since I started late. The main advantage I had was knowing how to use image filtering kernels to count neighbors and find patterns.

While taking part in the #adventofcode2020 challenge I thought of integrating @AustinSampler into @code to see where most of the time is spent in your code at a glance, without even leaving the editor. Here's the demo of the current prototype. #Python #profiling
#rstats #adventofcode2020 massive difference in difficulty between parts 1&2! part 2 felt more like something off the USAMTS, though in the end it's only a few lines of code. Explanations in 2/3

🎄🎅 Merry Xmas 🎅🎄 Time to enjoy our finished Advent calendar. Here is mine from #adventofcode2020 👇 This year I managed to finish it 😅 It was a lot of fun and also a bit challenging (especially day 20 🐉)
#rstats today's #adventofcode2020 ... once you wrap your head around adjacency matrix math for the 100th time & build your matrix from the input, both answers pop right out. all #base today. 2&3 with more explanations

That's a wrap for #adventofcode2020! Thanks to a few awesome nights (31st/31st on problem 20, and 24th/21st on problem 25), I ended up in 76th place (!!) - mindblowing to me after originally setting a goal of finishing just one problem in the top 100!

It's time to hang up my spurs as a programmer for this year. I enjoyed learning #python, was stressed out and frustrated at times because I couldn't get my program to work and could never catch up with the top 3. Back to being 'just the scrum master' in 2021. #adventofcode2020

#rstats #adventofcode2020 today is pretty much a showcase for switch()? I used #rdatatable to tidy things up a bit. Showing off tstrsplit(), set(), %chin% for good measure. Explanation screenshots in follow-up

So apparently tiles in #adventofcode day 20 can not only be rotated but also flipped... It took me a whole day to realize it... Now time to find sea monsters I guess
I just completed all 25 days of Advent of Code 2020! #AdventOfCode2020 #AdventOfCode 😁 Coolest experience no one can give! 😅 Maybe next time to the top 100 in #leaderboard! 😔 #Programming #Development #Coding #Competition #CompetitiveProgramming #JavaScript #Data

I've managed to reduce it with capped fork ([:) and passive (~), I guess I'll leave it there for now. part1 =: */@({~[:{.4$.&$.2020=+/~) #jlang #aoc #adventofcode2020
Wow, we've only just finished #AdventOfCode2020, and #AdventOfCode2021 is there already? F# and C++ for me this year, let's see... 2019 was a rally, 2020 was an amusement park, what will 2021 be? Amusement park from NiER: Automata?
Yes, I know it's almost July. Finally getting back to #adventofcode2020, my favorite part isn't solving part 1 or part 2. It'd doing a good enough job writing part 1 that part two takes less than 3 minutes to implement.

Hey @JagexAyiza I noticed Jagex is one of this years sponsors for #AdventOfCode2020. Surprised to see nothing about this on any of the Jagex twitter accounts, as it would put Jagex in a positive light. Could you share anything about the sponsorship?

Off work today. Catching up with my #AdventOfCode2020 #programming puzzle challenge! 👩🏻💻 #csharp #dotnetcore
