Working with grade 6 Ss this week on equivalent ratios. We used square inch tiles. I said, “build me a 1:2 ratio & 2 equivalent sets” or “build be 6:4 ratio and simplify it”. It was so great to see and they said, “I didn’t know math could be fun!” #makemathmeaningful
