This hidden gem from @AliExpressES is great. An 8-channel #logic analyzer with a sample rate of 24MHz compatible with #sigrok and #pulseview for less than 5 euros. Furthermore, it worked in Ubuntu 24.04 with no additional steps.

Am bashing my brains out, trying to figure out why the IEC protocol decoder in #Sigrok #PulseView is crapping out while trying to read a trace from a real 1541 device, the EOIs before it stops, is very suspect. sigh.

#c64 hardware hackers: has any1 else successfully used the IEC decoder in #PulseView? It is very inconsistent, for me... #retrocomputing.

#FujiNet 4 #Commodore currently debugging low level bus handling. This is a test program in BASIC that gets adapter info one line at a time. Using #pulseview to determine where the fault is happening, and a test program to exercise it.

Spent weekend learning about rectifier circuits with so much theory. Ended the day with #DHT11 and logic analyzer hooked up to #PulseView and #Pico #RaspberryPi Temperature is 691.5 ℃ but 28 ℃ on console so work to be done.

Smoke test is passed! The #FPGA tries to load a bitstream from a serial flash, but it is not there yet. #PulseView #sigrok

oh, this is nice, #pulseview even has a decoder for ws281x LEDs, you can see the value of each led... :)

#Sigrok / #pulseview have come a long long way since I last looked (> 5 yrs ago, I think). Many useful protocol decoders to choose from. This one is helping me to debug my attempt at designing a SD card interface (SD mode not SPI).

Para evitar tener que usar #pulseview en modo superusuario en #ubuntu tan solo hay que copiar : "libsigrok/contrib/z60_libsigrok.rules" en "/etc/udev/rules.d/" y reiniciar. 😀

Con el #Pulseview (de @sigrokproject ) vemos que efectivamente al LED se le envía una seña cuadrada, de 40Hz (25ms de periodo). Pero nuestro ojo no lo aprecia #FPGAwars
