#PythonTwitter, I have a confuse. Root finding in with SciPy's interpolate package is usually pretty damn good, but I've found some cases where it completely misses a root, like this one. Any chance anyone else has come across this sort of thing? #Python @SciPyTip

Afaict, the typing API isn’t very stable as of now. So I hope a future change doesn’t break this. Also, can anyone explain to me why issubclass() can’t be called on a generic type (specifically for an abstract class while it works for other classes)? #PythonTwitter

I've been struggling to find scenarios where a `list(filter(lambda x...` is more practical / pythonic than a simple list comprehension. Am I missing something #pythontwitter?

Is there an online means, where I can create/ run python code, but from an Android smartphone ? Asking as my laptop battery is circling the drain. #PythonTwitter

#PythonTwitter What is the recommended way of vendorizing 3rd party dependencies in your Python module? 1. Vendorize in the Python module itself 2. Create another package only with the dependencies, and add that package as a dependency in the main package? Please RT.

Need some help from #datasciencetwitter #pythontwitter I am trying to scrape data from a site for some data w/ Python. I have Python 3.10 installed but have only used Python scripts in Linux so never have set it up on my machine. 1/

My problem is that whilst I have used Python for years, I was an experienced coder before in other languages. The danger is looking at Python and assuming it is like other things you knew and skipping fundamental learning. I am catching up with #PythonTwitter #MicroLessons

I have used python for years only ever seen it in the context of *args and assumed incorrectly this was a special keyword. However, as I have got into #PythonTwitter recently I have been understanding various aspects more deeply.

If you're ever stuck on a problem, do this: take out your notebook, find somebody to chat with about it (@raspberry_pi #pythontwitter) and see if they can point you in the right direction. It's the best way to learn!
