#splashmaps My father in law (SSgt Michael Hewison REME) in the Western desert (photo courtesy IWM). He was a 17 year old TA soldier in 1939. Went away for his 2 week camp and came back 7 years later. Saw action in N Africa and Italy. Great bloke, much missed since 2014.
