Yesterday I successfully defended my master's which focused on developing a non-lethal stable isotope sampling method for Spotted and Alligator Gar. Today I wear my Gator Gar cape proudly.

Attended the Madisonville Gar Rodeo. The participants were kind enough to let me take fin and muscle clips from their catches to use for stable isotope analysis. These samples will be used to create a non-lethal sampling mode for future studies! They won’t die in vain!
