#TrafficAlert From Oct. 6-10, we're closing two eastbound lanes on Austin Bluffs Pkwy. (between American Dr. & Academy Blvd.) to replace a broken water valve & hydrant. One lane stays OPEN. Westbound closures are also still in place until Nov. Expect delays & please use caution.

Wildlife Officers welcomed help from @CSUtilities and a neighbor today while relocating a bear from a tree in Colo Springs. Witnesses said the 150lb, 2-3 yr old sow (female) was struck by a car Tues night, and remained on the ground ~30 min before waking and running off.

Update: The water main break was repaired this morning. Uintah St. has reopened in both directions, but expect temporary lane shifts as we continue to work to repair the road.
