UPDATE: As of 2:08 p.m., power has been restored to the area. Outage was determined to be caused by wildlife contact.
We are responding to a power outage due to a suspected equipment issue on the south side of the city, along S Academy Blvd between Highway 115 and I-25. While the estimated restoration time is 4:50 p.m., we are working to restore power as quickly as possible.
Please use caution while driving and observe barricades at eastbound Constitution Ave. just east of Payton Circle. Crews are repairing a cable fault which caused the vault lid to unseat from its placement. There are no electric outages at this location currently.
