Quickly whipped up an emulator for this thing. Now for some 6502 coding to make something that resembles a kernel.
Just figured this one out and it's now all fixed! I'm using a W65C816, if anyone wants to have a guess as to what was wrong. 😃
This one has me stumped presently. There is nothing on the bus but RAM and the CPU is in the read state. These are four of the data lines. 🙄 Other than the 'Defender' style waveform the homebrew computer is functioning correctly, funnily enough. (Pic of Defender on right 😂).

C'mon, man... 3 1/4 disks weren't even invented.
Back on to it today. A couple of spots to cleanup under the QFP, but nothing too challenging.
Too bad it didn't work and had to start all over again. Hand solder fail.

My latest 6502 based homebrew computer is coming along well. Testing as I solder it up. But, all going to plan at this stage.

Power button right near the delete key. What not to love about that design.
Reset circuit is complete for my next 6502 based project. OCD mode still very much enabled. Waiting for the PCB's and parts to arrive.
