A concrete example of an LLM saving me a good chunk of time. I dumped working/broken clang invocations that are ~10k+ characters each and simply asked it for the differences. And it found the problem (point 3). Probably saved me an hour of annoying work. chatgpt.com/share/6838c109……

Figure out what you want. Ignore the opinions of others. Do so much work it would be unreasonable that you fail. Realize it never mattered to begin with. Help others once you get there.

You can't ignore the competition, because your (potential) customers don't ignore the competition. They're actively comparing you, because they're making a choice. So you can't ignore them, despite those trite bromides that say you should.

I just vibe coded a whole iOS app in Swift (without having programmed in Swift before, though I learned some in the process) and now ~1 hour later it's actually running on my physical phone. It was so ez... I had my hand held through the entire process. Very cool.
