Someone's position on the X-axis of "right vs. left" is becoming far less relevant to me than their position on the Y-axis of "sane vs. batshit."
To me there's nothing wrong with being left or right-leaning politically. I consider myself a milquetoast center-right moderate. If any views to the right of Mao or to the left of Hitler are somehow beyond the pale for you though, I'm not interested in further interactions.
