🚨Proud to be campaigning with @MattForPCC I am keen that safer streets are priority for local people as is crime reduction We need to work collectively to crack down on crime
The SNP have abused the trust the people of Scotland put in them.
Liz Truss’s resignation honours list is full of rewards for failure. It is proof positive of Rishi Sunak's weakness and a slap in the face to working people.
Yesterday, the PM Sunak donated 6 boxes of mince pies to front line workers. On the same day, the Mayor of Greater Manchester @AndyBurnhamGM donated 15% of his salary to help tackle homelessness, which he does every month. Compare and contrast....

Any fool can divide people, it's not difficult, creating fear is simple. Its far more skilled to unite and give hope. Braverman is a lazy politician without skills to do her job, so she's dividing even her colleagues because she's simply not got the skill to do anything else.
This is a must watch. A brutal takedown of a Home Secretary that is not fit for office and a Prime Minister that is clearly out of his depth.
The Conservatives are "happy to follow a home secretary who describes homelessness as a lifestyle choice" Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer says Suella Braverman has a "divisive brand of politics" Follow live bbc.in/3FOyYG5

NEW: Rishi Sunak when chancellor blocked financial support for people on low wages to help them isolate during Covid, it's been claimed Patrick Vallance note, Sep 2020: “CX blocking all notion of paying to get people to isolate despite all the evidence that this will be needed”
NEW: This is the moment Tamworth's Conservative candidate Andrew Cooper makes a swift exit as Sarah Edwards begins her winning speech. He was in the building for less than five minutes. Sarah Edwards tells me: "We have seen his true colours, it is a shame." @itvcentral
Luke's agenda around transparency and integrity has particularly impressed me, and I'm happy to have cast my vote for him today.
🌹 Thanks to @ACunninghamMP for his support. 🗳 The vote to choose Labour's candidate for Tees Valley Mayor is an important one. I have the energy and fresh thinking needed to take on the Tories next May. Read more about my plan here 👇 luke4teesvalley.co.uk
Would the British public support or oppose the UK Government calling a General Election in the next six months: Support: 57% Oppose: 13% Via @RedfieldWilton, On 1 October.
Rishi Sunak almost halved the school rebuilding budget. Our schools are crumbling. Our children are paying the price. After 13 years of Tory government, our public services are falling apart.
Rishi Sunak’s Tories are letting your children’s school crumble.
We are not complacent and still have work to do, but it is clear that momentum is with Scottish Labour. The Scottish people are clearly turning against incompetence and division. We are working to build a majority for change and deliver for Scotland. thetimes.co.uk/article/snp-do…
Tories playing political games.
Yesterday, the Conservatives tried to play political games - blaming Labour for Ben Houchen's parking charges. Cross-party councillors including Labour, Lib Dems and Independents united to call on the Mayor to keep funding free parking. The Tories refused to support us.
Labour was proud to repeal the ban against LGBT+ people serving in our Forces. Today, we strongly welcome the PM's apology as a recognition of their mistreatment. Ministers must now act on the Etherton review to fix the lives broken by the ban. It is what LGBT+ veterans deserve.
